MATH WORLD

www.khanacademy.org is an educational website that students who missed classes with tutorials. It has a teacher called Salman who does tutorials. He uses example and problems from the course textbooks to guide students..  I also recommend Adult guidance for students at grade 1 through 6. (Math Teaching tools, 2006)

Math.com is another website that provides a calculator to students, in all levels. It has calculators and definitions. Though it provides a calculator it needs the student to learn how to do the problem by their own. I strongly recommend this website to students at any level of study who don’t have a calculator.

mathbits.com is a website that makes math world to be fun. One learns how to do any basic mathematics from grade 1 through college. All that a student needs to make use of this website is to read and understand on their own using the materials provided to them on the website. I recommend students in colleges mostly to use this website because a lot of stuffs presented are self driven; hence it needs students who have some advanced knowledge in mathematics. (Maths tools, 2014)

The following are the skills students need; the ability to recognize mathematical concepts that needs some improvements. Moreover, the students need to develop the desire to learn and inculcate new concepts in them. Basic computer skills such as keyboarding and using the mouse effectively are also paramount. Furthermore the students’ needs to have an average reading skill, to enable them get the information they learning faster and easier. They also need to be able to have a skill of downloading stuff from the Internet. (Online Tool for students, 2014)
