Khan Academy is a online non-profit educational organization. Salman Khan is a teacher who helps you learn Math and Economics. This website is good to use when you missed a class or you need to understand it better because Salman goes in depth of the subject. He uses problem examples and find different ways to go at a problem. You need to be able to use the computer and read. Depending on what you are looking at you might need to also know the basics or advance level of the subject. Salman teaches all different types of basic math and economic problems and you can learn at any level! I would definitely recommend this resource at an Applied Calculus level.
K-5 Math Teaching Resources is a website that has free resources and has math games and problems for young elementary students. My cousin who is in 4th grade uses this website and his mom has told me it has helped him so much. It is used for young elementary students who are struggling to understand the basics especially geometry and reading problems. You need to be able to read and use the computer. This website is appropriate to use if you are struggling in the small basics of math. A college student would not being using this website. I would recommend this website to any young elementary student. If you have a little brother or cousin like I do then this website will make math fun and help them learn!
Math Bits is a website used to help make math fun and easier. You can learn how to do any basic level of math all the way up to college level math. You need to be able to read, use the computer and also learn basics or advance levels depending on your subject. It is for any age depending on what level you are going to. I would recommend this website to almost any student from K- College Level. The cool part about math bits is that it helps you understand math and has games to make it more enjoyable. Depending on what kind of student you are, Math bits could be the website for you. It has videos but it also is written out for you. If you like video lessons, then Khan Academy might be the one for you but Math Bits helps you learn at your own pace.
Math.com is a useful guide website that has calculators and definitions. It has just about anything you need to know about math. You can learn almost anything related to math from any level and has all the different calculators and math utensils available. You will have to know how to use a calculator and learn basic math or advance depending on your subject. I would recommend it to almost any student who is in a math class who doesn't have a calculator or doesn't have theirs on them. Math.com will help you know definitions and get a problem started but it is really independent and so you will have to know how to do the problem. I would recommend this website for a refresher to a math problem you forgot the definition or equation.
